3.9x increase in conversion rate — DeepStateMap

Our task

DeepStateMap has huge traffic — about 26 million sessions a month. The team tried to find an alternative to the previous services they worked with, as all solutions were either expensive or lacked functionality: there was no content locker or multilingual option. And most importantly, the majority of services did not support Single-page applications (SPA).

Solution

DeepStateMap created three types of widgets with Claspo:

1. News widget. A pop-up with one button that adapts to mobile and leads to the Telegram channel. Thanks to SPA support, the Claspo script works correctly and loads stably. Conversion increased 3.9x: from 0.370% to 1.438%.

2. Donations widget. A multilingual floating bar widget with a call to support the project with donations. Claspo’s multilingual support was a decisive factor — other services made this very difficult.

3. Widget for Russian Federation Military Personnel. A full-screen content-blocking widget with geotargeting built specifically for DeepStateMap. Conversion increased 32x: from 1.44% to 46.9%.

Results

The news widget achieved a 3.9x conversion increase (0.370% → 1.438%). The geotargeted military personnel widget saw a 32x increase (1.44% → 46.9%). SPA support allowed DeepStateMap to significantly reduce page views and lower service costs. The team plans to continue A/B testing different widget types, button formats, and layouts.
